Re: Can DOORS create IEEE 12207 documents ? H0Q5_all_junk - Thu Feb 24 13:01:46 EST 2011 There's a potential misunderstanding here - when sammyc stated that DOORS has all of the 12207 templates built in, what was really meant is that DOORS has all of the heading outlines for the 12207 templates, and other stds, and that these heading outlines can be imported into a DOORS module. But there are no front covers sheets, TOC's, guidance text, boiler plate text etc - you would need to purchase hard\electronic copies the 12207 templates to see all of that. The "Template" feature of DOORS is bit of a misnomer, but it's a handy way to kick off a module with the heading structure of well known methodology & documentation stds such as IEEE-12207. So you may still need RPE to help export the contents of a DOORS module that uses a 12207 heading structure into a classy looking document (if it doesn't have to be classy then you don't need RPE).
